Production Positions

Employees in our production facilities assist in day-to-day operations by supporting our press operators and ensuring smooth workflow of jobs throughout the day. Positions will be filled based on business needs.

Current Shifts Available:

(please indicate preferred shift on application)

  • 12hr Rotating: 3pm-3am, 3am-3pm. Work 3 days, 1 day off, work 3 days, 7 days off (Employees work 36hrs but are paid for 40hrs)
  • 2nd Shift: 2pm – Midnight, Monday – Thursday
  • 3rd Shift: 10pm – 6am, Sunday – Thursday

Rewind Operator - Pressure Sensitive - 3rd Shift

Do you enjoy working hands-on utilizing some of the best technology in the printing and packaging industry?  Does accepting daily challenges and exceeding goals resonate with you?  Belmark is seeking a Rewind Operator to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers.  With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company.  The hours are 6:00pm – 6:00am, Sunday; 12:00am – 6:00am, Monday – Thursday.  On this shift, you work 36 hours per week but get paid for 40 hours per week.

Position Overview

  • Rewind labels from press rolls to smaller rolls according to customer specifications.
  • Inspect labels for accepted quality, remove defective labels if needed and complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Set up of rewind machine; keeping work area and machine clean and organized.

 

Position Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Ability to set up and operatoe a rewind machine using a ruler, calculator, Allen wrench and screw driver.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
  • Regular attendance is required.  May be required to work some overtime.

Shipping Technician - Flexible Packaging- 1st Shift

Position Overview

  • Responsible for packaging, labeling and staging printed products in a timely manner to meet customer needs.  Responsible for arranging orders requiring special carrier pick up. Will multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Using great attention to detail, ensure all printed product packaging specifications are followed and completed accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with Customer Service and Rewind Department personnel to meet daily shipment deadlines.
  • Use third party logistic software systems to determine the best and most economical shipping method to meet customer needs.
  • Provide accurate job order data entry and use Federal Express/UPS software systems.
  • Use an automated stretch wrap machine to wrap orders shipping out on skids.

Position Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Regular attendance is required.  May be required to work some overtime.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, using concentration and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate a computer and computer systems. 

Specialty Finishing Assistant Operator - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Position Overview:

Specialty finishing converting area consists of multiple machines and or processes that add value to our customers finished product. In doing so, there will be specialized instructions written, verbal, and technical drawings required for the set up and running of this converting equipment. As part of the value we provide to our customers, all specialty finishing operators will be required to set up and operate multiple high speed converting assets. Attention to detail, flexibility, problem solving skills and teamwork are a must.

Position Requirements

  1. Knowledge of any of the following converting equipment and/or processes:
  • Bag making equipment;
  • Die cutting in registration;
  • High speed label application;
  • Solvent seaming shrink materials;
  • Perforation and sheeting;
  • Roll to roll inspection;
  • Laser scoring equipment;
  • Insert/die cut coupon machine;
  • In mold label (IML) process.
  1. Regular attendance is required. May be required to work some overtime.

3.Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.

  1. Must be able to use a ruler, calculator and various hand tools.
  2. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
  3. Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow both written and oral English communication.
  4. Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school education.
  5. Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less; identify and distinguish colors; see and identify moving images for color or registration.

Press Operator - 1st & 2nd Shifts-Phoenix, AZ

  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.

Laminator Operator – Flexible Packaging- 2nd Shift

  • Operate a laminating press at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product.
  • Ensure product print impression and registration, as well as proper anilox, tensions, die cut and stripping on each job.
  • Web the press, maintain adhesives, clean press, install doctor blades, install cylinders and perform routine press maintenance.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.

 

Position Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to speak the English language fluently.
  • Regular attendance is required.  May be required to work some overtime.

Press Operator Assistant - 1A, 1B and 2B Shifts - Flexible Packaging

Do you enjoy working hands-on utilizing some of the best technology in the printing and packaging industry?  Does accepting daily challenges and exceeding goals resonate with you?  Belmark is currently seeking Press Operator Assistants to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers.  With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company.  The shifts we are recruiting for are 1A, 1B and 2B.  The 1A/B shifts are from 3:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.  The 2B shift works 3:00 P.M. – 3:00 A.M. with a schedule of 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, and 7 days off.  Employees on this shift work 36 hours and are paid for 40 hours.  Many of our employees enjoy the rotating shift due to the days off received, which allows for time to accomplish things around the home and spend time with friends and family!

Quality Assurance Internship

Interested in learning and supporting a dynamic Quality Assurance team?  Does the label and packaging industry interest you?  Belmark is currently seeking energetic and motivated Quality Assurance Intern to assist in all phases of the Quality Department including quality assurance testing, ISO 9001 documentation, processing of customer complaints and other administrative functions.

Position Overview

  • Process customer returns and reworks.  File complaints, job jackets and retain boards.
  • Assist with providing follow up with Sales Team and Managers.
  • Assist with documentation and implementation of ISO 9001 procedures and internal test methods.
  • Assist QA Technicians with in-process, finished product testing, certificate of analysis and data entry as needed.
  • May perform special projects as assigned by manager.

Position Requirements

  • Student enrolled full time at an accredited two year or four year college pursuing a quality related career.  Some applicable majors may include Engineering Technology, Packaging, Graphic Communications Management, Quality Management, Business Management, Leadership Development, Manufacturing Operations Management, etc.
  • Knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
