Employees in our production facilities assist in day-to-day operations by supporting our press operators and ensuring smooth workflow of jobs throughout the day. Positions will be filled based on business needs.

Current Shifts Available:

  • 12hr Rotating: 3pm-3am, 3am-3pm. Work 3 days, 1 day off, work 3 days, 7 days off (Employees work 36hrs but are paid for 40hrs)

Press Operator Assistant - Flexible Packaging (2A shift) - De Pere, WI

Do you enjoy working hands-on utilizing some of the best technology in the printing and packaging industry?  Does accepting daily challenges and exceeding goals resonate with you?  Belmark is seeking a Press Operator Assistant to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers.  With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company.  This position works 3:00 P.M. – 3:00 A.M. with a schedule of 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, and 7 days off.  Employees on this shift work 36 hours and are paid for 40 hours.  Many of our employees enjoy the rotating shift due to the days off received, which allows for time to accomplish things around the home and spend time with friends and family!

Position Overview 

  • Learn and gain full knowledge of press operation within a maximum time frame of 1 year.
  • Fully commit to Belmark operating procedures and produce a consistently high quality product within acceptable standard waste and time rates.
  • Take accurate notes for reference guide when operating press independently.  Demonstrate learning by performing set up tasks, color and ink procedures within a 3 month time frame.
  • Learn to fully understand schedules and how to complete necessary paperwork.

Position Requirements 

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Requires at least six (6) months experience setting up, operating and cleaning up a narrow web press.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Regular attendance is required.  May be required to work some overtime.

Material Expediter - Flexible Packaging (2A or 2B Shift) - De Pere, WI

  • Ensure correct materials are at laminators and rewinders according to schedule. 
  • Return unused materials to warehouse.
  • Backup for receiving department and pressroom material handler and other warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure oncoming shift are stocked according to scheduling.
Position Requirements
  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Must be certified to operate a forklift truck.
  • Regular attendance is required.  May be required to work some overtime.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, using concentration and attention to detail.

Folder Assistant - Folding Cartons (1st Shift) - De Pere, WI

Job includes hand packing cartons into cases and stacking cases onto pallets.  With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company.   1st shift hours are from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

  • Locate product to be folded and glued.
  • Assist operator set up and change over machine.
  • Rotate jobs between several Folder Gluer machines.
  • Troubleshoot all problem areas.
  • Inspect product quality.
  • Package into boxes.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Web-To-Print Press Operator - 2nd Shift - De Pere, WI

  • Responsible for accurate inventory management which includes computer entries and stock size change.
  • Deliver all non-stock items received to appropriate person or area.
  • Ensure accurate stock use recording.

  • Monitor die cutter while in operation and perform machine changeover tasks.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.

Responsible for operating the die cut section of a web offset press which is in line with a rewinder for roll products and in line with a die cutter for paperboard products. This position is part of a two to four person crew that is responsible for working on the web offset machine.

Specialty finishing converting area consists of multiple machines and or processes that add value to our customers finished product. In doing so, there will be specialized instructions written, verbal, and technical drawings required for the set up and running of this converting equipment. As part of the value we provide to our customers, all specialty finishing operators will be required to set up and operate multiple high speed converting assets. Attention to detail, flexibility, problem solving skills and teamwork are a must.
