Position Overview

Responsible for accurately mounting plates onto cylinders, washing plates and filing them according to job number.
Ensure all plates for a job are mounted in a timely manner, according to the schedule, to keep presses running at all times.
Wash plates from completed jobs.
Peel sticky back off of cylinders.
Fill alcohol, acetate and soap bottles.
Responsible for mixing inks to match set color standards. Bringing ink out to press, adjusting colors on press, and assisting press operators.

Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.

Pouch Machine Operator - 1A & 1B; Shawano, WI

Belmark is an innovative, multi-award winning converter of pressure sensitive labels, folded cartons, and printed flexible packaging. We are a growing business and we offer places to grow in. We now have a full-time Pouch Machine Operator position available at our Shawano location. The hours are from 4:00am – 4:pm, 3 days on, 4 days off.

SUMMARY

Specialty finishing converting area consists of multiple machines and or processes that add value to our customers finished product. The Pouch Operator is responsible to set up and operate multiple high speed converting assets. Attention to detail, flexibility, problem solving skills and teamwork are a must.

Position Overview

Maintain superior attendance record.
Perform all tasks following safety guidelines at all times.
Comply with all Belmark operating procedures, work instructions and food safety requirements.
Case packing finished product.
Ensure all product quality attributes are met during the converting process.

Web-To-Print Finishing Operator-2nd Shift - De Pere, WI

Web and clean the finishing units.
Understand and properly utilize computer based hardware and software associated.
Will have job duties specific to our Hazardous Waste Management Program for the proper disposal of spent solvents, waste inks and other designated waste products. Some of the responsibilities include the placement of waste solvents/inks in designated waste drums, labeling of waste drums and moving waste drums to designated storage locations.
May cross train in other areas of Web-to-Print.

  • Bring mixed ink to press, ensure press has sufficient ink to run job, return ink to ink room.

What’s the ML&D Pathway?

Belmark’s ML&D Pathway stands for Manufacturing Leadership and Development Pathway. Position Overview

  • Performs daily equipment and building maintenance to ensure proper functioning and operation while adhering to agreed upon standards, processes and systems.
  • Correct occurring mechanical electrical problems.
  • Responsible for the appearance of the maintenance shop, compressor rooms, electrical rooms and maintenance work sites. 
  • Share knowledge with maintenance personnel; work in a team atmosphere to resolve maintenance issues.

Position Requirements

  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and two (2) years of maintenance experience; or an associate degree in electricity or electro-mechanics.
  • Regular attendance is required.  Ability to meet deadlines; may be required to work some overtime.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to speak the English language fluently.
  • Ability to read electrical print/schematics, including symbols, component ID and locating, PLC card I/O, and various types of prints for US, Canadian and European manufacturers.  
  • Ability to use an electrical meter, interpret electrical signals (e.g. AC sine wave, DC square wave), program motor controllers and operate HMI/OIT equipment.
  • Must have excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting thought processes and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to properly use hand tools, power tools, read mechanical drawings and work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of thermal imaging and ultrasonic testing equipment.
  • Ability to follow known mechanical tear down and rebuild processes.
