Employees in our production facilities assist in day-to-day operations by supporting our press operators and ensuring smooth workflow of jobs throughout the day. Positions will be filled based on business needs.

  • 12hr Rotating: 3pm-3am, 3am-3pm. Work 3 days, 1 day off, work 3 days, 7 days off (Employees work 36hrs but are paid for 40hrs)

Web Offset Die Cut Operator - Folding Cartons (3rd Shift) - De Pere, WI

Do you enjoy working hands-on utilizing some of the best technology in the printing and packaging industry?  Does accepting daily challenges and exceeding goals resonate with you?  Belmark is currently seeking a Web Offset Die Cut Operator to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers.  With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company.  3rd shift hours are from 10:00 P.M. – 6:30 A.M., Sunday; 10:30 P.M. – 6:30 A.M., Monday – Thursday.  The shift differential for 3rd is $1.00 more per hour.

Position Overview:

Responsible for operating the die cut section of a web offset press which is in line with a rewinder for roll products and in line with a die cutter for paperboard products. This position is part of a two to four person crew that is responsible for working on the web offset machine.

Position Requirements
  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.

Shipping Technician - Pressure Sensitive (2nd shift) - De Pere, WI

Position Overview

  • Responsible for packaging, labeling and staging printed products in a timely manner in order to meet customer needs.  Must be able to multi-task, have a high level of attention to detail and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with Customer Service and Rewind Departments to meet daily shipment deadlines.
  • Work with third party logistic software systems to determine the best and most economical shipping method to meet customer needs.
  • Provide accurate job order data entry and use Federal Express/UPS software systems.
  • Use an automated stretch wrap machine.
Position Requirements
  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.

Position Overview

  • Operate a laminating press at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product.
  • Ensure product print impression and registration, as well as proper anilox, tensions, die cut and stripping on each job.
  • Web the press, maintain adhesives, clean press, install doctor blades, install cylinders and perform routine press maintenance.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.

  • Mix ink using appropriate formula to match color target.
  • Bring mixed ink to press, ensure press has sufficient ink to run job, return ink to ink room.
  • Use computer and color matching software to utilize all inks in inventory.
  • Assist press operators with color matching on press, work on reducing press downtime.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and record keeping procedures.

Web-to-Print Lead Press Operator (3rd Shift) - De Pere, WI

Position Overview

  • Perform principle duties and responsibilities listed on Web-to-Print® Press Operator job description.
  • Perform press maintenance and repairs working with Shift Managers/Supervisors and Press Operators to bring about timely and last resolution to issues.
  • Assist with difficult jobs, including problem solving and determining an action plan of what should be done.
  • Train and develop press operators focusing on a lead by example approach to thru-put, quality, waste, standards and maintenance.
  • Ensure press operators are trained and comply with all standard operating procedures, testing protocol, critical to quality maintenance and calibration procedures and safety standards.
  • Fill in or relieve press operators during vacations, breaks and absences.
  • Provide leadership during Supervisor/Manager vacations, sickness or travel.
  • Prepare job components in advance according to daily schedule. This would include preparation of materials, standards and job paperwork.
  • Manage and maintain the press spare parts inventory program ensuring items are in stock and categorized properly.
  • Manage and maintain all press consumable supplies from order entry to storage.
  • Work with Shift Managers/Supervisors on scheduling feedback with Sales and Account Services.
  • Review daily and monthly feedback reports and provide input toward sustained improvement.
  • Required to obtain press level operation, shared maintenance and Tier 3 certification(s) where applicable.
  • May assist in other areas of production including Graphics, Finishing and Rewind.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or Shift Manager/Supervisor.

Position Requirements

  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
  • Ability to use a computer with a focus on Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize the English language fluently.
  • Must be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Requires 5 Years Web-to-Print® Press Operator experience or production knowledge of Digital processes acquired in a similar size operation.

Maintenance Technician (2nd & 3rd Shifts) - De Pere, WI ($3.00/hour more on 3rd shift)

Position Overview

  • Performs daily equipment and building maintenance to ensure proper functioning and operation while adhering to agreed upon standards, processes and systems.
  • Correct occurring mechanical electrical problems.
  • Responsible for the appearance of the maintenance shop, compressor rooms, electrical rooms and maintenance work sites. 
  • Share knowledge with maintenance personnel; work in a team atmosphere to resolve maintenance issues.

Position Requirements

  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and two (2) years of maintenance experience; or an associate degree in electricity or electro-mechanics.
  • Regular attendance is required.  Ability to meet deadlines; may be required to work some overtime.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to speak the English language fluently.
  • Ability to read electrical print/schematics, including symbols, component ID and locating, PLC card I/O, and various types of prints for US, Canadian and European manufacturers.  
  • Ability to use an electrical meter, interpret electrical signals (e.g. AC sine wave, DC square wave), program motor controllers and operate HMI/OIT equipment.
  • Must have excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting thought processes and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to properly use hand tools, power tools, read mechanical drawings and work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of thermal imaging and ultrasonic testing equipment.
  • Ability to follow known mechanical tear down and rebuild processes.

Folder Assistant - Folding Cartons (2nd Shift) - De Pere, WI

  • Ensure plates are mounted accurately, according to rewind position.
  • Ensure all plates for a job are mounted in a timely manner, according to the schedule, to keep presses running at all times.
  • Ensure plates and cylinders are not damaged.
  • Ensure that the next shift presses have a least one job mounted according to the schedule to reduce the amount of downtime.
  • Wash plates from completed jobs.
  • Peel sticky back off of cylinders.
  • File plates according to job number.
  • Fill alcohol, acetate and soap bottles.
  • Ensure plate wash area and plate mounting area clean.
  • Assist press operators as needed.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Overview

  • Presentations and training for internal and external customers.
  • Preview all graphic order information and components received from Customer Service.
  • Open art files, print images and determine New/Revision status.
  • Identify printing issues-including press capabilities and tolerances, cylinder and gear combinations and BELMARK press specifications.
  • Contact customers and designers for project clarification.
  • Serve as point of contact for questions regarding projects from Sales, Customer Service and customers.

  • Conduct post press review of projects and support manufacturing.
  • Coordinate job pulls and internal change requests.
  • Create references for designs.
  • Review art from Electronic Prepress Operators.
  • Work with external vendors and coordinate project activity and time lines.
  • Stay updated on legal requirements-e.g. NLEA, UPC, etc.
  • May travel with sales representatives to customer’s site for training and gathering data.
